Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro / Arusha

Your journey begins upon arrival in Arusha, Tanzania’s vibrant safari hub. After being warmly welcomed, you will be transferred to a luxurious lodge, where you can unwind and acclimate to the African atmosphere before your safari adventure begins.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

• Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park.
• Game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees.
• Lunch in the park and continued game drive.
• Dinner and Overnight

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

• Depart after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park.
• Enjoy game viewing with a mix of habitats: acacia forests, baobab trees, and alkaline lakes.
• Famous for its tree-climbing lions and high concentration of mandrills.
• Dinner and Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge (Full Board, FB).

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

• Depart after breakfast heading to Serengeti National Park through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy a game drive in the rich Seronera River area, known for diverse wildlife.
• Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge (Full Board, FB).

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Wildebeest Migration

• Full-day game drive tracking the Great Wildebeest Migration.
• Witness the drama of the migration, with wildebeests, zebras, and other species moving across the Serengeti plains.
• Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge (Full Board, FB).

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

• Morning departure to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• Visit Olduvai Gorge, a key archaeological site where the earliest human fossils were discovered.
• Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive through the floor of the caldera, home to high densities of wildlife, including lions, elephants, and rhinos.
• Explore Lake Magadi, a large, shallow lake often home to flamingos and hippos.
• Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (Full Board, FB).

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Airport

• Morning game drive in the crater before heading back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for departure.
• Optional overnight accommodation in Arusha (extra cost on request).
