RONGAI ROUTE

RONGAI ROUTE

Tour Summary

The Rongai route offers a unique and remote way to approach Mount Kilimanjaro from the northern side, close to the Kenyan border. This route is known for its quieter atmosphere, with fewer crowds compared to other routes, and a more gradual ascent, making it an excellent option for those with less backpacking experience or those looking for a more peaceful climb. The Rongai route is also preferred during the rainy season due to the drier conditions on the northern side of the mountain.
